Put testimonials on your business cards? & "Cheap" coupon prospecting - cool idea.

Put testimonials on your business cards?

Use the empty back of your business card for
testimonials. It's different. Your prospects will
notice the testimonials.

And, why not put testimonials in your signature
file at the bottom of your email messages? If your
testimonial is too long, write a teaser headline
and direct the reader to a link to your
testimonial page.

"Cheap" coupon prospecting - cool idea.

Turn your business card into a coupon. Instead of
printing a paper coupon, make your entire business
card a coupon.

Instead of having your company logo, address and
other boring data on your business card, do this:

Make a strong offer for your product or opportunity.

For example, your business card could say:

* $5 off SuperVitamins.
* First-time customers only! Get ...
* Free admission to business seminar.
* Present this ticket at the door.
* Free audio report:
* How to get an extra paycheck every week.

Business cards are cheap, cheaper than printing
cheap-looking paper coupons.

So when your next prospect asks you for a business card,
give them your business card coupon with an offer
they can't refuse.

"99-cent margaritas!"

"99-cent margaritas!"

Mark Davis sent me this tip.

While visiting Las Vegas, the casino would offer him a
margarita for only 99 cents. Why?

Because it would take 45 minutes to drink the margarita
and that keeps people in the casino (where they naturally
spend more money).

I guess there is also a side benefit here for the casino
as the margaritas would enhance the customer's gambling
judgment :)

So what could you do?

Supply cappuccino and latte at the beginning of your
presentation so it keeps your prospects busy with something
in their hands while you describe your products and
business.

The "Eavesdrop Approach."

Do you have trouble getting prospects on an
opportunity presentation teleconference call? Are
they afraid of being "sold" by listening to the
sales presentation?

Relax your prospects by offering to have them
listen to a "training call." They can listen to
one of your teleconference trainings without the
fear of being "sold."

Here are four great headlines and opening sentences.


1. "Would you accept a gift just for trying our newest
moisturizer?"

2. "Ten new ways to make more money every month."

3. "No one will tell you this amazing secret that
keeps you fat."

4. "How to get an unfair advantage on your taxes."

Your first sentence or headline is everything. If you
don't capture your prospect's interest immediately, you
are wasting your time.

Throw a promotion party!

If you have a local group, here is a great way to bond,
socialize, and motivate your group.

Throw a promotion party.

* If you just qualified to be a platinum director,
throw a platinum director party.

* If one of your distributors qualifies as a senior
manager, throw a senior manager party.

* If one of your distributors qualifies as a Star Trek
commander, throw a star-trek commander party.

It's a great excuse to get your group together to
bond, give recognition, and to challenge the group
to reach new positions in your business.

It's easier to get your distributors to a party
than it is to get them to a meeting.

So what do you really know??? -- Here's proof!

It is embarrassing. Your distributor says:

"I don't need to go to the training on Saturday.
I already know everything I need to know."

And then the distributor complains that his business isn't
growing.

And it is your fault, isn't it? Or the economy. Or stupid
prospects. Or the marketing materials.

Well, we both know that the distributor is simply lacking
the skills to build his business. He doesn't know exactly
what to say and exactly what to do to build his business
consistently.

So get even . . .

Simply give your distributor this "Skills Test" and watch
your distributor squirm when he realizes that he really
doesn't know how to do his business.
