How to handle and train distributors when they complain.
Drama. It seems when distributors complain, they insist on enhancing the problem. And when they run out of things to complain about, they start to repeat themselves.
One way to short-circuit this vicious no-win activity is to simply ask this question:
"If you were a leader, how would you handle this problem?"
Now, you haven't said that they are leaders. You just asked them for a solution they would use IF they were leaders.
This forces them to start taking personal responsibility for their careers. They won't go far if they need you every time there is a problem in their lives.

How to get guests to your opportunity meeting.
Instead of paying $150 or $250 for a meeting room, why not buy dinner for the prospects instead?
If you spent $10 per prospect for dinner, you could have 15 to 25 prospects as guests for dinner for the same price as renting a hotel meeting room.
When you buy dinner for your prospects at a restaurant, the restaurant will provide a private dining room for a group at no extra charge. Simply call a few restaurants and locate those that have private dining areas.
It's easier to invite prospects to a dinner meeting instead of a hotel business meeting.
And the best part is, you only have to pay for dinner if only a few prospects attend your dinner meeting.

How to get even more guests to your opportunity meeting.
Why not hire a couple of high school students to give free car washes to your guests while they are at your meeting?
It will only cost a few dollars and your guests will love you. The free car wash might even create a little obligation in their minds, eh?

Four great headlines and opening sentences.
1. "There I was at 15 thousand feet, both engines on fire and my parachute in the laundry."
2. "Three miracle exercises that reduce cellulite."
3. "How three teenage high school students doubled their college fun by helping neighbors save on long-distance phone charges."
4. "76-year-old granny starts second career as a part-time karate instructor."
Your first sentence or headline is everything. If you don't capture your prospect's interest immediately, you are wasting your time.

Don't give away samples.
At supermarkets, many times you see demonstrators giving away samples of a new food. People grab a sample, and then continue on with their shopping.
But one supermarket demonstrator only gives away samples if the shopper opts-in by leaving his or her home address to send coupons to. She says:
"Tasters are wasters unless they opt-in with their home address."
Are you "giving away" samples to the wrong people? Could you do better by insisting for some type of opt-in or commitment? Maybe an e-mail address for future follow-up?

Great signature files.
A cheap and easy way to send people to your home page is to use attention-getting signature files. Don't use boring signature files such as:
The world's best home-based business opportunity with lifestyle enhancement features. Go to http://www.boringopportunitypage.com/1234/id=j2kt4
Now that's bad.
Instead, use your imagination. Make a signature file that creates curiosity and interest. Here are a few examples:

Click here to see a picture of my boss' face when I told him I quit.
Click here to see my "before and after" picture.
See the difference?
And all this is free. Yet, of all the emails that I personally receive, only 50% use a signature file.
Time to make a signature file or improve the current signature file, right?

------------------------------------------------------- Question: Many networking leaders teach that you should find out the "Why" in your prospects.
But, now that you know your prospect's "Why" - what are you going to do about it? How are you going to use it?
It is one thing to learn new knowledge, but you also have to learn exactly what to do with the new knowledge so that it effectively builds your business.
So what is your plan?

Can you honestly answer these questions?
Q. What is the average number of people sponsored by a network marketing distributor?
A. It is always "one." You get this number by dividing the total number of distributors in network marketing by . . . the total number of distributors in network marketing. The answer is always "one."
Q. True or false? Over 50% of the millionaires created in the last five years came from network marketing.
A. False. It is a great rumor, but not true. People become millionaires from the stock market, real estate, sports, entertainment, owning small businesses, Internet, and a few lottery winners too. There are thousands of new millionaires every month in this country alone. Network marketing can't be responsible for everyone, or even 50% of the successes in the United States.
Q. What do Greg Arnold, Ron Bond, Robert Butwin, and Big Al all have in common?

Q. Who are the best prospects for diet products?
A. Brides, one month before the wedding. I am told that they would pay almost anything to lose a few more pounds. I checked with my daughter, Ann. At 90 lbs, she definitely doesn't have a weight problem. But even she wanted to lose a couple pounds before the wedding to make the dress fit better. Go figure.
Q. What do Eskimos get from sitting on the ice too long?
A. Polaroids. Okay, okay. I just had to pass this on. Probably won't help your networking business knowing this semi-valuable information, but it will put a smile on your face when you get a little rejection.

When giving a presentation, your prospect simply wants to know the answer to three simple questions. If you answer these questions, your prospect will have enough facts to make a decision to join.
And the best part is that you can answer these three questions in about one minute!
What are the three questions?
1. What KIND of business are you in? 2. How much MONEY can I make? 3. WHAT do I have to do to earn this money?
If your current presentation doesn't answer these questions completely to the prospect's satisfaction, well, your prospect probably won't join.
